DJ Peter (Long Beach, CA)


Peter Araiza has is a professional Artist that has been entertaining audiences for over a decade. He has worked with reputable dance/theatre companies such as: Contra Tiempo Dance Company, Versa Style Dance Ensemble, Waldo Gonzalez School of the Performing Arts in Puerto Rico and East LA Classical Theatre. In 2008, Peter co-founded The LA Influence Dance Company. It was during this time that he refined his choreography style by combining his passion for dance and theatre. Since the company inception, he has trained over one hundred dancers in various styles that include Salsa, Bachata, Rueda de Casino, Cha Cha and Kizomba. His animated and detailed teaching style focuses on lead and follow technique with a strong emphasis on social etiquette that is not only educational but entertaining as well. Peter has been featured in various festivals and has toured Nationally and Internationally as a dance instructor, performer and DJ. Peter has been DJ’ing professionally for the last 6 years and loves to play Salsa, Bachata, & Kizomba.

DJ Pabony (Rochester, NY)

Growing up with parents that have educated him on his culture and influenced his musical taste, DJ Pabony, (Julio Pabon, born April, 17th 1984) a Puerto Rican native, has an profound relationship with music. DJ Pabony’s early memories include Parrandas in Puerto Rico and accompanying his father, DJ Julio Pabon, with many of his gigs as his assistant.

At the age of 11, DJ Pabony began his instrumental career in Rochester, NY. For the past 20 years, DJ Pabony refined his craft as a percussionist and holds a Degree from the University of Miami in Music Business and Entertainment Industries and Percussion Performance. Prior to DJing, He has had many professional percussion experiences in major metropolitan areas like Miami, FL (Congero for UM Salsa Orchestra), and New York City (Percussionist for Manhattan Samba and Samba! New York). DJ Pabony is also the Musical Director for local Salsa, Bachata and Merengue group, Sonidos Unidos, a Music Teacher in the Rochester City School District, and teaches Latin and World percussion at the prestigious Eastman School of Music.

DJ Pabony his love for music and making people happy is what drives him to becoming a better DJ after every event. He uses his abilities to as a professional percussionist to read and entertain his crowd to make the right musical selections. DJ Pabony’s end goal is to make people enjoy their time on the dance floor and introduce people to way he hears the music.

Now a regular fixture of Rochester, NY latin dance scene with his weekly residency at Tango Cafe Dance studio, DJ Pabony has had the opportunity to expose and share his love for Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Kizomba, Semba and Zouk. Recently, DJ Pabony has the opportunity to DJ events in major cities like Denver, Washington DC, Toronto and Detroit for notable names in the dance world like Marc Brewer, Sara Lopez, David Campos and Guida Rey.

DJ Pabony looks forward to gaining national and international exposure while continuing to grow as a DJ and Musician alike. This year has already been a busy year for DJ Pabony and 2016 also will continue with that trend as he continues to blaze the scene in Rochester,NY and build his national and international presence.

DJ Bloo (Columbus, OH/Miami, FL)

Dj Bloo started his dance and DJ career in 2006 while getting his undergraduate degree at Florida State University. He was part of a student team known as the Corazon Dancers where he received his nickname “Bloo”. During his time with the group he discovered his passion for teaching Latin dance and DJ’ing.

Because he considers himself a dancer first, he knows how to keep people on the floor. He loves playing classic and unique Salsa, Traditional Bachata, Merengue, Mambo, and especially Cha Cha & Boogaloo! He’s particularly known for his funky and fun “Cha Cha lines” where he leads crowds through improvised Cha Cha footwork. During his sets you’ll also find him mixing in the latest Bachata Urbana, and the growing Kizomba, Zouk, and Semba sensations. Being a Miami native means at the end of the night you might also catch him mixing up some high energy House sets!

His academic career has led him to Columbus, Ohio, where he works as a Graduate student while still finding time to regularly teach and DJ in the Tristate Midwest community. He currently works with the Salsamante Dance Academy and is one of the organizers behind the Columbus Salsa Weekend, a growing Ohio Salsa festival.

DJ Romeo (Chicago, IL)


Israel “Romeo,” is of Mexican decent, currently living in Chicago, IL. In addition to being known as one of the top Djs in the dance community he is also a community leader in many ways. The development of the dance community has always been a significant part of his life. He began his dance career in 2006, and has since won over the hearts of thousands of dancers across the states with his bright, yet humble smile, his wonderful dance talent, and unique style. He has traveled all across the United States performing with various dance teams including Cincinnati, Chicago, Orlando, and Denver to name a few. “Romeo,” as they call him, is not only known for his irresistible humor and professional dance skills, but also for his incredible work ethic and ongoing positive presence within the Latino community. Currently, his Dj career has the touch of “musica para el bailador,” or, music for dancers. Because of his intricate background as a dancer, he knows how to keep the crowd energetic, sweaty, and thirsty for more. Dj Romeo is like no other and is the one you need to keep your socials and events hot!

DJ Jo-Z (Milwaukee, WI)


Jose “DJ Jo-Z” has always been passionate about music and it’s different genres. Despite being a newbie on the dance scene, he’s been able to bring that passion to the dance floor. Starting his DJ career as a mobile DJ for private parties, he was able to transition to being a Latin Club DJ, giving him a taste for Salsa and Bachata. Wanting more, he then quickly got involved with dancing through classes, socials, and then joining his first dance team. As the Official DJ of Werk MKE, Jo-Z has been able to grow as a dancer and DJ and share his passion with others. From night clubs in Wisconsin, socials in Chicago, and more recently being exposed at various festivals organized by Island Touch Dance Academy, Jo-Z always aims to please the dancers!

DVJ Eclipse (Chicago, IL)

With over 15 years experience in the Latin market, Dvj Eclipse has played in many club locations from Orbit, Furama, Club PM, Transit, Lalo’s Restaurant, Rancho Luna, Circuit Nightclub, Club Volcan & Club 720. In that trajectory, Eclipse has held residency as a Radio Dj for WOJO La Que Buena 105.1 and La Kalle 93.5- 103.1. Recently Dvj Eclipse has been a big part of the Kizomba Movement in Chicago and the Midwest.  As one of the founders and promoters for Toque de Kizomba, He and Kizomba Chicago have landmarked Kizomba Fridays at La Taberna Tapas (1301 S. Halsted). He also holds residency at Patron Haciendas in downtown Chicago for Sensual Wednesdays, with a kizomba, zouk and bachata flavor.

DJ Marroquin (Chicago, IL)


DJ EDGAR “MAMBO KING” MARROQUIN is one of must recognized latin salsa DJ’S in Chicago and the Midwest. He’s been promoting, producing and DJ’ing some of the most important latin festivals and events in the area. In 2015 alone, he has been hired as an official DJ for the Cuban Festival, Latin American Festival, Central American Festival, & the Chicago International Salsa Congress.  He has DJ’ed in some of the must important latin night clubs in Chicago including Club 720, V Live, Excalibur Transit, & many others. His knowledge of music is extensive with a heavy influence on salsa and bachata. His monthly Top 10 list is a guide to most music aficionados and DJ’s. He is also the director of Latin Beat Chicago, which is a record pool supplying music to DJ’s in the area for over 18 years. Today he is a part of Salsa Wednesdays at the Willowbrook Ballroom and Salsa Saturday’s at Congas Night Club.
